She can be found in reading socks and wrapped around a book or phone a million worlds away living another adventure. CJ Bower

Bio: I discovered the joy of writing in junior high school. I loved keeping journals, where I could give the wings of my imagination room to fly. I finished my first full-length novel when I was sixteen, even though it was so atrocious that I never did anything with it.

After stepping away from the hobby for several years, I picked it up again in 2012 when I returned to college. I earned my first publishing credit with the student literary magazine, The Creative Quill, in 2014 with a short story called “Trick or Treat.”

Now, in addition to my full-time day job, I have once again given wings to my imagination. And am realizing a dream I hadn’t realized I’d been harboring, by having one of my stories accepted by a publisher.

Diane Wiggs
Bio: Diane Wiggs writes romance with a dash of danger. Her protector/romantic suspense novels include steamy tension and a hint of humor. When she’s not writing, this Midwestern girl is juggling all of life’s tasks. Occasionally, she takes a break to read a book, go on an ATV ride, or just relax at home with her husband, son, and two crazy canines.

Her debut novel Suspect My Heart (formerly titled Free My Heart) was a finalist in RWA’s Golden Heart writing contest for unpublished authors in 2019, and also finaled in both the Lone Star Writing Contest and the Pages From The Heart Writing Contest in 2018 in the romantic suspense category.

Diane’s second novel Protect My Heart was a finalist in the 2019 Emily Writing Contest, took second place in the 2019 Maggie Awards in the romantic suspense category, and was a finalist in the 2022 Published Maggie Awards.

DV Fischer

Bio: USA TODAY Bestselling DV Fischer is a mother of two very busy boys, a wife to a wonderful and patient (thank god) husband, an owner of three sock-loving German shorthairs, and slave to a cat they pulled out of a dumpster (literally), Geralt. Together, they live in Sheldon, Iowa.
When DV Fischer isn’t chasing after her children, she spends her time typing like a madwoman while consuming vast amounts of caffeine. Just kidding. She can’t do that anymore. One cup a day or she regrets all her life choices for the next twenty-four hours.
Known for the darker side of imagination, she enjoys freeing her creativity through plus-size romance that may only exist between the pages, no matter how much we wish otherwise.

E.A. Buckingham-Young

Bio: E.A. Buckingham-Young is a spicy romance author who loves writing flawed characters and telling the stories of strong and independent women and the swoon-worthy men who fall in love with them. She strives to write characters of all different races, ethnicities, sexualities, body types, the neurospicy and characters with health struggles, both mental and physical.
When she’s not writing, she’s working at the day job she loves, spending time with her husband, three children, dog, and cat, or reading. (Spicy romance, fantasy, and thrillers are her favorite genres.) She survives on unhealthy amounts of caffeine and healthy amounts of rum.

E. L. Koslo

Bio: Find the funny in your life.
That’s what EL Koslo strives to do in her life every day. She spent her youth with her nose in a book, often conjuring up storylines in a composition notebook she hid under her mattress. Her love of writing continued on through high school as she served on the school paper and wrote poetry for the literary magazine.
At University, she studied Art and Art History where she met her own prince charming after kissing a few frogs, of course.
Her love of reading and writing have been a constant in her life with her nose always buried in a book, tablet, or computer—both writing and reading.
She resides in the Midwest United States with her husband and four rambunctious children. Her days are filled with driving kids to school, activities, and sports; frequently squeezing writing time in while waiting in the carpool line.
Koslo’s characters are often developed while running on the treadmill at the gym, and she has a DVR full of Hallmark movies.

Emersyn Park

Bio: With the aid of her worn-out flip-flops, Emersyn stands five feet three inches short. Her hairstylist – who has been by her side for twenty-five years – would say she is naturally a dishwater brunette with slight waves. Her dermatologist – who is her neighbor – would tell you she needs to stay out of the sun or at least apply some sunscreen. Her friends – who she refers to as her ‘witches’ – would claim her giggle-snort is contagious and that she talks a lot. Her go-to outfit is a pair of capris and a T-shirt.
Emersyn’s personality splits between two types: type A (an organized, goal-orientated planner) and also type B (a bubbly extrovert who feeds off social interaction to reenergize). These traits have served her well. While she enjoys alone time – to ponder her creative thoughts – she can comfortably chat with anyone.

Her journey to write and publish a book is a simple one. She has always dreamed of becoming an author like her idols, Gillian Flynn, Colleen Hoover, Dianne Chamberlain, Emily Giffin, and Ruth Ware. As a young child, she wrote one-act plays and short stories in which her type A personality could control the ending.

In high school, her love for reading intensified, and she was often found with her nose in a work of fiction. She also became very active with her high school newspaper and yearbook staff where her talent and passion for writing blossomed under the wonderful direction of her Journalism teacher.
As an adult, many novels crept onto paper but never fully contained Emersyn’s attention. Her role as a mother was her number one priority. Now that her two sons have grown and become independent, free time resurfaced.
“He Loves Me, She Loves Me Not” was born during COVID-19 quarantine. Page after page poured out of Emersyn as if the words had been bottled up and were overflowing. Even though the global pandemic has completely altered our ‘normal,’ it is also credited with giving Emersyn the gift of time and the opportunity to create an entertaining story that leads its readers to question the basic facts that you were led to believe. Not everything is as it appears.
We all have a story to tell; whether it’s a great story depends on how you tell it.

G.R. Loreweaver

Bio: G.R. Loreweaver brings to life worlds filled with PNR menage and lots of delicious twists.
When she isn’t creating characters that we love–only to be mean to them–she likes to spend her time watching movies or playing video games. She adores all things purple and can usually be found spending time with her amazing husband and crazy kids, most likely with her toes in the grass.

Heidi Hutchinson

Bio: Heidi Hutchinson writes slow burn rock star romances for contemporary readers who like humor with their hotties. She has both open and closed door series filled with relatable characters and swooney yumminess. Double Blind Study, her go-to series, is closed door and follows a band in emotional turmoil and the women who love them.

When she’s not writing about wild hearted women and hunky heroes, she’s watching Doctor Who or trying to find the perfect gluten free pizza crust for her pizza shaped celiac heart. She lives in the Black Hills with her alarmingly handsome husband, their fearless child, and a rather large (and spoiled) dog.

She’d fueled by messages from her readers and too much coffee.
And a whole lotta love.

Joan Enockson

Bio: My journey began while growing up on a dairy farm in Northwest Washington State. The barns became my sanctuary, where I found solace and friendship among the animals who became my most attentive audience during countless impromptu concerts.
After high school, my passion for music led me to Dordt University in Iowa, where I pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in vocal performance and an Associates degree in office administration. Four years felt insufficient to delve into my love for singing, so I continued my education at the University of South Dakota. There, I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in secondary education and a Masters of Music degree in vocal performance.
Throughout my career, I have been involved in various musical engagements, from local performances to directing a boy choir for 13 years. For over 20 years, I maintained a private vocal studio, nurturing the talents of aspiring singers. I have also taught vocal programs in the public school system for K-12 students, general music for preschool through sixth grade, beginner band programs, and Talented and Gifted programs. Currently, I am in my fifth year of teaching a full-time Talented and Gifted program at a local public school.
Creativity has always been at the core of everything I do. Becoming a children’s book author has brought a new sense of purpose and creativity to my life. Drawing upon my background in music education and my understanding of what students need, I aim to help children contemplate deeply about their aspirations in life. Additionally, I aspire to contribute to their personal growth and development, recognizing their innate need to know what it means to be a good human.
By supporting my journey as a children’s book author, you are not only helping me fulfill my goals, but also making a difference in the lives of children and the libraries and schools that serve them. Together, we can inspire young minds and foster a love for reading, creativity, and personal growth.

Now she is living in the sprawling metropolis of Cedar Rapids, spending her days teaching high school Spanish and her nights being a wife and mother to a son and furry children. Somewhere she finds a little time here and there to write. Much to her husband’s irritation, her imagination still steals her away to daydreaming about her characters and future stories.
